.....There are no ifs.... buts or maybes.....
Everybody in the world loves babies.
Witnessing the miracle of childbirth is wonderful indeed.
Babies become closer to their mothers if they breast feed.

Babies are special ..... cuddly and cute.
That's something nobody can dispute.
Babies can be irritating when they cry n scream very loud.
But when they say Mom and Dad for the first time,it makes us proud .......

Sometimes when parents change diapers, they get peed in the face.
But it's a small price to pay when we see a baby become part of the human race......
Some parents want a boy and others want a girl.
......Babies are our future n will one day run the world......

Let us leave a Greener peaceful world for our children....

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Nnnnnn for us parents .....let us keep on...n on....
....Flirting in cyberia as it is friendly, fun n safe....LOLZ

.....At times I Really miss u.... Let the couples in luv...... know my feelings.... May 18, 2012 8:53 am

What words can I say, that have not already been said,
I ask myself, thoughts dancing round in my head....

I want to give u a gift, something from me
that lets u know truly, what I want u to see....

But no words will do justice, to my heart aching to tell
how I want to fill you with pride, n make your head swell....

Every time uuuu kiss my lips, my heart pounds in my finger tips
fever racing through my core, making me want u all the more....

I need u by my side, on this long n crazy ride
through this Universe expanding, so to u the key I’m handing....

While you’re away I am not just a shade of blue, because I miss u....
ya strong arms round my waist, as I’m kissing your face....

No rhyme falls from my lips, as I try to write this
that will ever describe, how I really feel inside....

There are no words to say, how I’m feeling today
that can ever tell my soul true....

So I’ll leave you with these, though more you require to please
these three simple words....
I love you

........becoming ......an embodiment of That which is beyond all being............. May 9, 2012 8:39 am
201 Views
The desire of a woman to have the perfect face n body of her imagination n the desire of a man to have the woman who possesses the perfect face n figure of his imagination love him n wish to unite with sexually,
"are fantasies".....

.....the actualization of which is utterly futile n impossible to realize....

They are reflections that exist in the minds of individuals in constricted consciousness receiving a glimmer of the Truth, beginning to imagine the unimaginable - becoming an embodiment of That which is beyond all being.

We can never satisfy our innermost desire either by lusting to be, or lusting for, a perfect looking person....
We can, and indeed, are enjoined to, become God in a body so that others looking at us may say:

.... "This is my God, n I will glorify".>>>>>>>>

Five reasons.... as to Why we love to watch IPL 5.... Bang Bang... tamasha.... May 8, 2012 8:19 am
221 Views

......... : : : : :
The Indian Premier League (IP is called a lot of things. Circus, carnival, Bollywood movie, soap opera, and sometimes a culprit for all untoward happenings. But under all the hype, hoopla, frenzy, glamour and packaging, IPL is about cricket. Although not exclusively, but it’s still cricket being played and it is still the game most of us love, even though it’s played in colors we don’t like and in ways we don’t appreciate. But IPL, in an odd, random way, is just like itself; you don’t really have what you want or expected, but you learn to live it by ignoring the unpleasant and focusing on the bright side. Gyan apart, we are a month into the fifth edition here is why I watch the IPL; despite the annoying trumpet sounds, brand-spewing commentators and the absolutely abominable Extraaa Innings show!

1. BECAUSE QUALITY MATTERS

They may be here for only for the money, but top international players, well most of them, come to India every year and very enthusiastically take part in the IPL. And they bring in the quality. For instance, Kevin Pietersen came in late and left early, but his short-term stint with new franchise Delhi Daredevils was breathtaking to say the least. And the explosive century he smashed against the Deccan Chargers is going to be listed as one of the highlights of this year’s tournament. Watching international cricketers playing alongside Indian domestic cricketers is a sight in itself. Who would have thought that we would see Lasith Malinga sharing the new ball attack with Munaf Patel or Brett Lee bowling in tandem with Lakshmipathy Balaji, Michael Clarke setting the field with Ganguly or Virat Kohli and Daniel Vettori discussing bower options together. Even watching players like Morne Morkel, Faf du Plessis, Owais Shah, Cameron White, not normally considered in the A-listers, put their best foot forward is worth watching. The presence of international cricketers lends a sort of credibility and, more importantly increases the quality of the IPL.

2. RISE OF GEN X

How many of us had heard of Shahbaz Nadeem before he rattled Mumbai Indians’ esteemed batting order? Or Pawan Negi or Parvinder Awana or Ashish Reddy or Paul Valthaty before IPL? Not many I am sure. And even if we had, we would have considered them as just another Ranji player. But IPL gives these young and upcoming cricketers recognition, the kind that domestic cricket doesn’t. Not to mention, the big bucks they bring home. Contrary to what most people think, not all Indian cricketers are royalty or loaded, and the fame, money and publicity IPL provides to these cricketers matters to them. Guys like Ajinkya Rahane, Manoj Tiwary, Robin Uthappa, Irfan Pathtn and the likes have played international cricket before, but IPL is still the platform for them. It may not be the ideal platform for national selection, but since our selectors consider it to be, strong IPL performances can take players a long way, case in point being Ravi Ashwin. And it is so not only for Indians, if you remember Shaun Marsh in IPL I took everyone by storm winning the Orange cap and a berth in the Australian team.

3. THE LAST HURRAH

By his own admission, this is the last time we are going to see Rahul Dravid play competitive cricket. It’s been years since we watched Adam Gilchrist play international cricket, but every IPL we can at least have a glimpse of the world’s greatest wicketkeeper-batsman. Watching Sourav Ganguly captain a side again is a longed-for sight, which we lucky to see this year. Muttiah Muralidaran’s trademark spin and smile are only seen in T20 leagues. It’s gratifying to know that retirement doesn’t necessarily mean the end of one’s career, we can always watch them in the IPL! I know a Gilchrist fans who religiously watched every Kings XI Punjab game just to watch him bat. Hundreds of Gagulians (as the cult calls themselves) have become Pune Warriors supports for their hero. I know a Dravid fan who actually traveled to Jaipur to watch him bat. And I completely understand this, I will never have enough of watching Dravid bat or Ganguly lead. If for nothing else, then IPL is worth watching to see the past greats in action.

4. THE THRILLS AND KICKS

Dale Steyn’s breath-taking spell against the Mumbai Indians, Virender Sehwag blazing his way to five consecutive half-centuries, Sunil Narine’s spinners that have left established batsmen astounded, Pune defending 129 and beating Mumbai Indians on their home ground, then Mumbai defending 120 and repaying the favor, all the last ball finishes, all the stingy 19th overs, all the gravity-defying catches and dives and run outs. IPL is not mere entertainment, it is entertaining cricket! There is no other way of describing the kind of cricket played by guys like Chris Gayle, AB de Villiers, Mahendra Singh Dhoni and the likes. With no international cricket happening currently, a cricket-lover can get his kicks from watching the IPL.

5. THE FAMILY THAT WATCHES CRICKET TOGETHER…

Nobody in family watches a lot of cricket and even though the television is on whenever there is a match, the longer formats of the game are hardly followed by the folks at home. But that changes during the IPL. Maybe because they are shorter matches telecasted during prime time or maybe because it so well packaged and advertised, most of my family watch and follow the IPL. In fact my entire clan even got together to go to Wankhede to watch an IPL match, the first in a stadium or many of them. Funny thing is, there are times when I don’t want to watch a particular game, but my nephew makes me put on Sony Max, something that is unprecedented! This is probably the strangest reasons to watch the IPL, but spending time watching and discussing cricket with family is a good enough incentive for me.

I have absolutely no loyalties in the IPL, I don’t support any team or rather franchisee. As long as the players I like are doing well I don’t care who wins. But I will continue following the IPL, to watch my favorite players, to watch closely-fought matches and most of all, to watch some quality cricket.

Myths and Realities of The Birth of Good and Evil May 3, 2012 8:31 am
291 Views

Though I agree to the writeup to a certain extent

Just Forwarding

Hinduism, Zoroastrianism, Buddhism and Judaism, the four most ancient and extant religions have myths about good and evil that are far from the truth. In Hinduism, the sage Kashyapa had two wives Diti and Aditi. The children of Diti, known as Daityas were generally the embodiment of evil, with the exception of Bali, who was unfairly deprived of his just rewards by the crooked chicanery of a midget avatar of Vishnu, the embodiment of good, who made it a habit of this partisan agenda, during Samudramanthan by depriving the Daityas of Ambrosia and in his "Sundari" version used guile to effectively counter the generous boon of Shiva to another Rakshasa king. Only doting devotees like Prahlada and Vibhishana were protected and crowned as collaborating subservient vassals. In the Krishna avatar, skullduggery, deceit and unethical behavior in the battles with Jayadratha and Karna expose the hypocrisy of the goodness of Krishna as the fable of Kach stealing Sanjivani from Shukracharya exposes the immoral deceit of Indra and the Devas.

Zarathushtra, being of probably the same origin as the Indian Aryans and possibly having his forbears amongst the wave of migrants from ancient Syria, gave credence to the locally prevalent myth of the Suras (Mitanni kingdom) and the Asuras (Assyrian kingdom) except that he made Asura, the good and Devas, the demons. The supreme good and sole deity is Ahuramazda locked in a never ending battle against Ahriman (Abhiman). Thus good and evil are distinctly personified. Judaism has similar myths about the children of the same father but different mothers (Sarah and Hagar) with the anointed wife having the better child and the concubine and her child being banished to the barren desert. It later shows evolution of thought in that two children of the same parents can manifest as good and evil as in the stories of Cain and Abel and that of Jacob and Esau. The Satan of Christianity and Islam has his roots in Ahriman of the Parsees and Mara, the demon of temptation in Buddhism. The first gives the battle between good and evil its historic birth and the second sets up Satan as the tempter who weans humans from the true path of god. One has to give credit to the Greeks for designing their gods from anthropomorphic clay. Zeus and his cohorts mutilated and killed their father and uncles imprisoned them and shamelessly seduced, terrorized and killed human females and others, while indulging in incest. The real civilization of the Greeks begins around 500 BCE with the tragedies promoting avoidance of cannibalism, incest and infanticide in the Houses of Atreus, Oedipus and Medea. Interestingly the philosophy and metaphysics of the Upnishadas part of the Vedas is a millennium older and the Gayatri Mantra, a supreme tribute to the sun, contemporary with the monotheistic sun worship of the Pharaoh Ikhnaton, though equally wrong, as proven by Darwin, the prophet who does not need a god, afterlife and similar crutches or skyhooks.

The truth and reality are quite different. All of us have the tendency towards good and evil and the slightest abrasions of life are able to expose them to the world and become manifest like festering wounds or the opening of Pandora's box. The Ashawatthama and gambling episodes of Yuddhisthir in the Mahabharata, Rama's treatment of Vali, The story of Nala and the carnal surrender of Ahalya emphasize this. No one is uniformly good or bad and each of them have condemnable faults and redeemable virtues. This is why the stories of "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde", "The Picture of Dorian Gray" and "The Bottled Imp" resonate so beautifully with our emotions when we read them and prompt us to think, there but for the grace of god (circumstances) goes I.

To paraphrase the poet, who put it so well, "Jab dali apni buraiyon pe nazar, to phir auron ki burai pe nazar na rahi". Thus "Physician, heal thyself" and also, " Let him who is without sin cast the first stone". It is important that those who think, speak and act in such Manichean terms as designating "The Great Satan", "The Axis of Evil" and issue Fatwas, rain terror from the skies and urge Gideon to blow his trumpet of doom or pleasurably anticipate Armageddon, occasionally examine their visage, heart and mind in the mirror of true reflection and not those of convex or concave cosmetics, that magnify their virtues and shrink or bend their faults in an amusing acceptance!

........Why is Pakistan always at War...... with itself..........???

The reasons are very simple....

They ....The Pakistani Junta.... the Army is always at cross roads with India..... n knows veri well it can't even poke ...India...n thus gets frustrated in a jiffy...

They.... The Pakistani Democratic set up is rather weak n in no way... can it be compared to India's robust democracy....

They.... The Pakistani Intelligence Network.... ISI.... may appear to be well organized on paper... but the way the R&AW... though seemingly not active ... has shown it's capabilities... more then once... twice... thrice... viz the ISI....

I dunno whether it was our good fortune to find n hire a sweeper woman whilst we were posted at Dehradun...

She was always punctual n never failed to smile ... while doing her chores... would make us all feel happy.... Being a sweeper v felt she would be rather unhygienic... again we were wrong....
n allowed her to help in the kitchen.... as all humans she also had ups n downs at domestic level... but would rather avoid her troubles to show up...

Recently v got the bad news that Kalavati expired in a road accident... while on her return from Dhanolti n Mussorie.....

On 16 December 1971, the allied forces of the Indian army and the Mukti Bahini defeated the West Pakistani forces deployed in the East. The resulting surrender was the largest in number of prisoners of war since World War II.

A new nation was carved out "Aamar Shonar Bangla" aka...... ....Bangladesh....

Sam ....You are n always have been an absolute sweetheart to me..... all Indians would surely agree....your entire essence exudes your honest self, which is so inviting, so charming, n so real....
